About the company
Our client is a full-service, deeply digital advertising agency based in the North Mid-West, established over 30 years ago. It specializes in creating transformative branding and marketing solutions, including application development and marketing services, with a belief that courage and kindness have a place in business. They focus on driving uncommon success for clients in a collaborative environment.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate the current content management systems in place for two enterprise client accounts, run concurrently over a two-month engagement
- Determine, for each client, whether the existing platform should be retained on a newer version, upgraded, or replaced with a different CMS entirely
- Lead a structured requirements-gathering process with each client, covering functional, technical, and business needs such as content workflows, integrations, and scalability
- Research and compare CMS platform options against those requirements, including total cost of ownership and vendor support
- Build a clear, defensible, platform-agnostic recommendation for each client, backed by the requirements gathered
- Present findings and recommendations directly to client stakeholders, translating technical detail into business terms
- Partner with the agency’s internal digital strategy and technology team to align each recommendation with the client’s broader roadmap
- Outline a rough timeline, risks, and migration considerations to support each client’s planning and budgeting process
Requirements
- Proven experience evaluating and recommending enterprise CMS platforms (for example Sitecore, Kentico, Adobe Experience Manager, Optimizely, Drupal, or similar)
- Strong grounding in digital strategy and content management best practices, with an understanding of content workflows, taxonomies, and governance
- Experience translating client business and technical requirements into a clear, vendor-neutral platform recommendation
- Confident presenting findings and recommendations directly to client stakeholders, and comfortable fielding follow-up questions in the room
- Comfortable working independently across two concurrent client engagements and managing priorities between them
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to document a recommendation clearly for both technical and non-technical audiences
- Based in, and able to work remotely from, the United States or Canada
- Available to start in September 2026
- No employer sponsorship available for this role
