Senior Consultant (Budget)

About the role

Euna Solutions is seeking a Software Implementation Consultant/Business Analyst to help public‑sector organizations maximize the value of Euna’s cloud‑based solutions. The role bridges current operations and future possibilities by analyzing client needs, identifying system gaps, configuring solutions, and partnering with the Development team to resolve complex integration challenges.

Responsibilities

• Lead enterprise‑level implementations, managing scope, timeline, risk, and stakeholder communication from kickoff through go‑live.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for customers throughout the implementation lifecycle, building trust and setting realistic expectations.
• Facilitate discovery and design sessions to document current‑state workflows, pain points, and business requirements.
• Design future‑state workflows that meet customer objectives while balancing system constraints.
• Identify required workflow changes and proactively manage change‑management conversations to ensure smooth adoption.
• Own the technical configuration and data workstream, including data‑migration mapping, cleansing, validation, and load.
• Build and troubleshoot SQL views, stored procedures, and ETL processes to support reporting, integrations, and data validation.
• Design and manage integrations and import/export processes between the budgeting platform and customer source systems.
• Configure the application to reflect agreed future‑state workflows.
• Keep implementations on schedule and on scope, escalating and resolving risks early.
• Communicate clearly with customers and internal stakeholders about progress, decisions, and trade‑offs.
• Support testing, training, and go‑live readiness activities.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience managing enterprise‑level software implementations, preferably in professional services, consulting, or a customer‑facing delivery role.
• 3+ years of SQL development experience, including creation of views, stored procedures, and ETL processes.
• Direct experience running JAD or similar structured workshops to gather and document current‑state business requirements.
• Proven ability to design future‑state workflows that satisfy customer objectives while accounting for realistic system and process constraints.
• Strong change‑management instincts and the ability to guide customers through workflow changes.
• Excellent project‑management skills with the capacity to manage multiple concurrent implementations, timelines, and stakeholders.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, including experience presenting to and advising customer executives and project teams.

Nice-to-Have Qualifications

• Experience with government or public‑sector budgeting software or processes.
• Familiarity with public‑sector budgeting cycles, fund accounting, or related government finance concepts.

Location & Schedule

This is a hybrid role based in Atlanta, GA. The employee works three days per week (Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday) on‑site at the Atlanta office, with standard office hours on those days. Remaining days are flexible and determined in partnership with the manager.
