You will play a crucial role in leading life sciences projects and delivering exceptional results for our clients in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and medical device sectors. What Your Day-to-Day Will Look Like
- Delivering exceptional project management services for laboratory, research, manufacturing, and clinical environments
- Managing and overseeing all aspects of life sciences projects, including planning, budgeting, scheduling, and execution while ensuring compliance with industry-specific regulations (FDA, GMP, cGMP, USP standards)
- Collaborating with internal teams, external stakeholders, regulatory consultants, and commissioning/qualification specialists to ensure project success
- Ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet stringent quality and compliance standards
- Providing leadership and guidance to project teams, empowering them to thrive and excel in the complex life sciences environment
- Building and maintaining relationships with life sciences clients, understanding their unique operational goals, research objectives, and regulatory requirements
- Championing JLL's values and culture of collaboration, inclusivity, and belonging
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related field (Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, Life Sciences, or equivalent)
- PMP certification or equivalent project management certification
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in project management, with demonstrated experience in life sciences facilities (laboratories, cleanrooms, manufacturing, or research environments)
- Proven track record of successfully managing complex life sciences projects from inception to completion
- Strong understanding of life sciences regulatory requirements and compliance standards (FDA, GMP, cGMP, USP 797/800)
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams including scientists, engineers, and regulatory specialists
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions in a fast-paced, highly regulated environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience leading projects across multiple life sciences sectors, including pharmaceutical manufacturing, biotech research facilities, vivarium/animal research facilities, and clinical laboratories
- Familiarity with commissioning and qualification processes (IQ/OQ/PQ)
- Knowledge of specialized construction processes, building codes, and cleanroom standards (ISO classifications)
- Proficiency in project management software and tools
