Responsibilities
- Manages, oversees, and coordinates all facets of the pre-construction, bid and award, construction, and close-out phases of all assigned projects.
- Serves as the primary liaison between the client, contractors, consultants, and internal teams.
- Oversee day-to-day construction activities for various projects, ensuring alignment with district goals, timelines, and quality standards.
- Manage project schedules, budgets, and documentation with precision and accountability.
- Lead coordination efforts across multiple disciplines, resolving issues proactively.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable codes, regulations, and DSA requirements.
- Provide clear, consistent communication to stakeholders at all levels.
- Monitor construction progress and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Support procurement, contract administration, and change management processes.
Qualifications
- 10–15 years of construction management experience in similar education facilities, particularly in DSA jurisdiction.
- Proven experience in: Athletic field construction, modular building installations, ground-up construction, and DSA experience is required.
- Strong client-facing presence with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple stakeholders and competing priorities.
- Solid understanding of construction processes, scheduling, and project controls.
- PREFERRED: Institutional/Higher Ed experience preferred but not required.
- Experience working for an owner, CM firm, and/or general contractor on large construction projects of $20M+ is a plus.
Salary
Salary Range: $160,000 to $175,000 yearly
