Senior Construction Inspector
About the role
EOC operates within HDR’s Federal Business Group, capable of delivering services across all HDR business groups at any location. Our work is performed by our professional staff, scientists and engineers at remote sites, embedded in client office space or our own facilities. EOC delivers quality engineering, environmental, and construction management services at competitive prices.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate familiarity with a broad spectrum of construction materials, methods and processes for buildings and facilities
- Conduct inspection of electrical, mechanical/HVAC, structural and site civil
- Mentor junior field staff and provide supervision as needed
- Collaborate with other field representatives or Project Managers
- Read and interpret construction drawings and specifications, and identify discrepancies or conflicts within documents
- Conduct and document observations of construction as it progresses
- Serve as the most senior inspector on projects as needed
- Perform other duties as needed
Requirements
- Requires high school diploma or equivalent
- (Candidates with 8 years of relevant construction inspection experience may substitute experience for a high school diploma)
- A minimum of 5 years experience
- Proficient with MS Office (Word/Excel/Outlook)
- Strong written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Pay
The pay range for this position is $50,000 - $100,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.
Schedule
This position is full-time and works a standard 40-hour week.
