About the role
The Senior Construction Inspector is responsible for ensuring compliance with building codes and safety standards during construction projects.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate construction sites for adherence to local building codes and safety regulations.
- Inspect structures for structural integrity and compliance with design specifications.
- Ensure all workers are following safety protocols and maintaining a safe work environment.
- Document findings and provide recommendations for improvement.
- Communicate directly with contractors and clients to address issues and concerns.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction inspection.
- Knowledge of local building codes and safety standards.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
