Senior Construction Estimator

Position Responsibilities

• Ability to work with our customers and architect/engineer/subcontract partners in a diligent and collaborative manner
• Bid document preparation and subcontractor buyout in an expeditious and thorough manner
• The ideal candidate has the ability to solve problems with limited direction
• Able to bring tasks to completion in a timely manner
• Conceptual estimating ability is a requirement of this position
• Able to manage multiple projects effectively and multi-task
• Able to lead project meetings and assist and/or fill in for other Estimators with all functions
• Able to communicate directly with Vendors/Subcontractors/Architects/Engineers

Qualifications

• A degree in Construction Management or Construction/Civil Engineering/Architecture strongly preferred
• Conceptual estimating experience with commercial building construction projects highly preferred
• Negotiated estimating experience a plus
• Experience with technology: ProCore, OnScreen Takeoff, Smartsheets, BlueBeam, Smart Bid, Excel
• Estimating background in healthcare, assisted living, municipal, higher-education, negotiated and lump sum bid work
