Responsibilities

• Adjudicate complex construction defect claims with minimal oversight
• Gather and analyze information to effectively resolve undefined issues
• Report on claims trends and developments to senior management
• Investigate claims by interviewing involved parties and assessing details
• Manage claims in litigation and ensure timely resolution

Qualifications

• Seven years' experience in adjudicating construction defect claims, handling cases of $100,000 or more
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university; insurance designations or equivalent experience may substitute for degree
• Multijurisdictional licensing or ability to obtain necessary licenses within three months of hire
• Strong understanding of insurance operations and claims impact on profitability
• Proficient negotiation skills for complex claims settlements
