Responsibilities

  • Defend a variety of insurance defense matters.
  • Defend general liability cases.
  • Defend personal injury cases.
  • Defend product liability cases.
  • Defend professional liability cases.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of relevant experience in insurance defense.
  • Experience writing motions and other legal memoranda, summarizing depositions, and trial preparation.
  • The ability to work independently from suit inception to settlement/trial.
  • Absolutely required: Active Connecticut Bar License.
  • Preferred: Active Massachusetts, Rhode Island, or New Hampshire Bar Licensure, or ability to transfer UBE scores (A Plus).

Qualifications

  • Juris Doctorate Degree.

  • Experience with Insurance Defense.
  • The ability to work independently from suit inception to settlement/trial.
