Essential Functions And Responsibilities Include
- Coordinate construction administration and inspection activities across multiple projects
- Review and process contractor pay applications, submittals, field reports, and other construction-related documentation
- Maintain a strong working knowledge of project plans, specifications, and contract general conditions
- Ensure compliance with applicable local, regional, state, and federal regulations
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor construction progress and verify general conformance with plans and specifications
- Observe and document field conditions, identifying and helping resolve issues as they arise
- Verify that work aligns with approved construction documents and contract requirements prior to payment certification
- Coverage of materials, methods, and workmanship meet established quality standards
- Coordinate with engineers, surveyors, technicians, environmental staff, code officials, and contractors to support project execution
- Communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders under the guidance of the Project Manager
- Support the resolution of field issues through collaboration with internal teams and external partners
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s or associate’s degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum of 10 years of construction administration experience
- Strong ability to read, interpret, and apply construction drawings and specifications
- Working knowledge of architectural, civil, structural, and MEP systems, along with applicable building codes and regulations
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, etc.)
- Experience with project management software, document review tools (e.g., Bluebeam), and contract management systems
- Ability to support project scheduling, tracking, and basic cost estimating
- Prior proven ability to manage and track tasks across multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly present information to various stakeholders
- Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and coordination skills
- Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while balancing multiple priorities
