Senior Construction Administrator

Responsibilities

  • Review and interpret construction documents and specifications to ensure accuracy, clarity, and constructability.
  • Respond to and maintain electronic documentation for RFIs, ASIs, CCDs, change orders, and other construction-related directives.
  • Collaborate closely with contractors, consultants, PMs, CMs, and internal project teams to implement construction documents effectively across single-prime and multi-prime projects.
  • Attend OAC meetings, conduct regular site visits, and prepare field reports that document project progress and issues.
  • Perform constructability reviews and identify discrepancies or coordination challenges early in the process.
  • Cookordination with city, county, and DSA officials on construction-phase issues, ensuring timely communication and compliance.
  • Review pay applications, change orders, and contractor submissions for completeness and accuracy.
  • Aid owners with bidding processes, addenda, pre-bid RFIs, and cost reviews.
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to junior staff, supporting their technical development and understanding of construction practices.
  • Build strong working relationships with all project stakeholders to support collaboration and project success.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of Construction Administration experience.
  • Significant experience with high-density housing projects.
  • Proven architectural and technical background.
  • Strong understanding of building codes, contract documents, and construction practices.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Bluebeam, and AutoCAD (Revit a plus).
  • Knowledge of materials, methods, and industry standards.
  • Experience with DSA forms and processes (strongly preferred).
  • Familiarity with relevant federal, state, and local laws, codes, and regulations.

Pay

Salary Range: $93,000.00 To $130,000.00 Annually
