Responsibilities

• Assist with month-end and year-end close processes.
• Perform and review bank reconciliations.
• Support accounts receivable and project billing activities.
• Process and understand AIA billings.
• Assist with construction job costing and financial reporting.
• Maintain accurate general ledger activity.
• Support fringe benefit reporting and related accounting.
• Help improve accounting processes, controls, and reporting accuracy.
• Partner with accounting leadership to improve financial visibility.
• Assist leadership with financial information needed to make business decisions.
• Work collaboratively across accounting and operations.

Requirements

• Construction accounting experience.
• ERP experience within the construction industry.
• Knowledge of AIA billing.
• Experience performing month-end close.
• Strong bank reconciliation experience.
• AP/AR experience with emphasis on accounts receivable.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Willingness to be hands-on and work alongside the team.

Preferred Qualifications

• Assistant Controller, Accounting Manager, Senior Accountant, or Senior Construction Accountant experience.
• Job costing experience.
• WIP reporting experience.
• Percentage-of-completion accounting exposure.
• Experience with ComputerEase.

Pay

$85,000 - $100,000 per year
