Senior Computer Systems Engineer

Responsibilities

• Provides engineering and architecture to include the software, hardware, and communications to support the total requirements as well as provide for present and future cross-functional requirements and interfaces.
• Ensures these systems are compatible and in compliance with the standards for open systems architectures, the Open Systems Interconnection (OSI) and International Standards Organization (ISO) reference models, and profiles of standards.
• Manages projects and employees.
• Proactively communicates potential issues to the Government.
• Maintains an on-site presence and shall be responsive to all Government inquiries and concerns.

Requirements

• Must be eligible to obtain a Public Trust.
• Bachelor's degree.
• Minimum 8 years' experience in engineering and architecture including software, hardware, and communications.
• Experience with open systems architectures, Open Systems Interconnection (OSI) and International Standards Organization (ISO) reference models.
• Experience working within Microsoft 365 cloud environments, including Microsoft Teams and SharePoint Online.

Qualifications (Desired)

• Experience managing projects and employees.
• Familiarity with federal records management requirements, including National Archives and Records Administration (NARA) Comprehensive Records Schedules (CRS).
• Working knowledge of Section 508 compliance requirements.

Pay

Salary range: $120,000.00 - $149,000.00
