About the role

Park Bank is seeking a detail-oriented and collaborative Senior Compliance Specialist to join our team. In this role, you'll serve as a key resource for ensuring regulatory compliance across all operational areas of the bank. You'll work closely with departments to provide expert guidance, conduct internal audits, and support training initiatives that promote a strong culture of compliance.

This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a role that blends analysis, communication, and education within a community-focused banking environment. As a Senior Compliance Specialist, you'll act as a trusted advisor, offering timely and accurate compliance support to associates across the bank.

Responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day compliance support and guidance to bank associates in a professional, accurate and timely manner
  • Perform routine monitoring, prepare reports, and recommend and coordinate resolutions efforts with department managers
  • Arrange for and provide appropriate training to associates in order to achieve the Bank's compliance goals
  • Determine if established policies and procedures are effective and review new products for regulatory compliance
  • Stay current on regulatory changes and assess their impact on bank operations
  • Support external audits and regulatory exams by preparing documentation and responding to inquiries
  • Participate in all required compliance training, as well as internal and external training programs, seminars, and conferences
  • Actively participate in various committees
  • Participate in compliance exams and audits by responding timely to requests for information and assist in research and resolution of outstanding issues
  • Review advertising, promotional brochures, bank form documents for compliance with banking regulation

Qualifications

Associate's degree or equivalent experience. 3-5 years of Relevant Compliance Or Banking Experience.

Preferred: Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field. Knowledge of Community Reinvestment Act (CRA) programs
