Supports the Workforce Development Center of Excellence (WFD COE) by developing and maintaining policies and procedures for program operations and grant compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain policies and procedures to ensure grant compliance with federal, state, and local regulations
- Work collaboratively with the WFD COE team, HCA functional areas, and legal counsel to identify and escalate potential compliance issues
- Conduct initial review of grant requirements and contract obligations before escalating to legal
- Review and maintain knowledge of current programming to ensure alignment with grant eligibility requirements, allowable costs, and funding priorities
- Serve as the WFD COE’s legal liaison on all matters as it pertains to the department’s business objectives
- Manage quality assurance of awarded funding as part of the centralized process
- Partner with field leadership for grant lifecycle management such as documentation requirements and reporting obligations from pre-award planning through post-award closeout
- Maintain centralized grant, contract, and MOU files
- Support program operations as needed
- Research, identify, and aid in the application of federal, state, and local grants for workforce development
- Coordinate proposed amendments to the grant documents or contracts
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree required
- Master's degree preferred
- 3+ years of experience in a related field required
- 1+ year(s) of experience in grant and/or contract experience preferred
- 1+ year(s) of experience in Salesforce preferred
- Strong organization skills and proactively prioritize needs
- Ability to collaborate and establish credibility and trust with internal and external partners such as vendors, corporate, and field leadership across a multi-state footprint
- Problem solves independently and engages stakeholders appropriately
