Senior Compensation Analyst
About the role
This is a highly visible, hands-on role responsible for supporting and enhancing the firm's compensation programs, ensuring they remain competitive and aligned with business objectives. The role involves partnering closely with HR and leadership to execute core compensation processes, including salary benchmarking, job leveling, and annual compensation cycles. Additionally, the individual will analyze market data and help build and refine scalable compensation structures and programs.
Responsibilities
- Support and enhance the firm's compensation programs, ensuring competitiveness and alignment with business objectives.
- Partner with HR and leadership to execute core compensation processes, including salary benchmarking, job leveling, and annual compensation cycles.
- Analyze market data and help build and refine scalable compensation structures and programs.
- Support annual compensation processes, including merit and bonus programs.
- Provide detailed analysis and recommendations based on market trends and internal data.
- Collaborate with HR and leadership to develop and implement compensation strategies that support business goals.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Finance, Business Administration, or related field, preferred
- 3+ years of experience in compensation or a related analytical HR function
- Prior experience within a law firm or professional services environment strongly preferred
- Proven experience supporting annual compensation processes, including merit and bonus programs
- Strong knowledge of compensation structures, job leveling, and market benchmarking practices
- Familiarity with federal, state, and local compensation-related regulations, including pay transparency
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and strong analytical capabilities
- Experience working with HR systems and compensation data management (Workday exposure a plus)
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present data and recommendations to stakeholders
- High level of discretion and professionalism when handling sensitive and confidential information

Benefits
The salary for this role is $120,000-$140,000. Compensation is commensurate with experience.
