About the role

Responsible for teaching pottery and ceramics classes to residents at Calyx Senior Living. Develop lesson plans, manage studio space, and provide individualized feedback.

Responsibilities

• Teach pottery and ceramics classes to residents
• Develop and implement lesson plans
• Manage studio space and equipment
• Provide individualized feedback to students
• Maintain a safe and inclusive learning environment

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts, Ceramics, or related field
• At least 2 years of teaching experience
• Experience working with seniors
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Proficiency in pottery and ceramics techniques
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong organizational and time management skills
