About the role
Responsible for leading pottery and ceramic workshops at the Senior Community, providing creative expression opportunities for seniors.
Responsibilities
- Design and execute pottery and ceramic workshops tailored to senior needs and interests.
- Encourage creativity and skill development among participants.
- Ensure safety and proper handling of all materials and equipment.
- Maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts, Ceramics, or related field.
- Experience teaching pottery or ceramics to adults.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in hand-building and wheel-throwing techniques.
- Knowledge of glazing and firing processes.
- Basic understanding of ceramics history and theory.
Skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Effective problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to adapt to changing schedules and participant needs.

Pay
