Senior Commissioning Technician

About the role

The Senior Commissioning Technician is responsible for ensuring that all systems are properly commissioned and operational in accordance with project specifications and industry standards. This role requires strong technical skills and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Responsibilities

• Commission HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and fire protection systems
• Perform system checks and adjustments to ensure proper operation
• Document findings and make recommendations for corrective actions
• Work closely with project teams including engineers, contractors, and clients
• Ensure compliance with codes and regulations

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Mechanical, Electrical, or related field
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in commissioning or related field
• Proficiency in using commissioning tools and software
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines

Qualifications

• Knowledge of building systems and their operation
• Experience with commissioning procedures and standards
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to travel up to 20% of the time
