Core Responsibilities

  • Structure, draft, and negotiate complex commercial property acquisitions, dispositions, and development agreements.
  • Represent lenders and borrowers in sophisticated commercial real estate financing, asset-based lending, and commercial loan originations.
  • Draft and negotiate high-value retail, office, industrial, and mixed-use commercial leases on behalf of landlords and institutional tenants.
  • Review complex title commitments and surveys; draft and resolve sophisticated easements, covenants, and land-use restrictions.

Position Requirements

  • Minimum of 10+ years of dedicated experience specializing strictly in the field of commercial real estate.
  • Candidates whose backgrounds are predominantly focused on residential real estate will not be considered.
  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school and active, good-standing admission to the Connecticut State Bar.
