Senior Real Estate Attorney
About the Role
Hanson Bridgett's Real Estate Transactional Practice Group is seeking an experienced Real Estate Attorney to join our Real Estate + Environment Section. This is an exciting opportunity for an attorney who wants to take ownership of sophisticated real estate finance matters, working directly with a seasoned partner while playing a key role in the continued growth of the practice. This role offers the opportunity to mentor junior attorneys, work with many partners, help shape team workflows, and build meaningful client relationships, with a clear path toward partnership for high-performing candidates.
Responsibilities
- Run matters end-to-end
- Manage multiple transactions simultaneously
- Engage directly with clients, including lenders, developers, and investors
- Mentor junior attorneys
- Work with many partners

Qualifications
- At least seven years of experience advising on complex real estate transactions, including:
- Debt and equity financing structures
- Acquisitions
- Dispositions
- Joint ventures
- Development and construction projects
- Securitized lending
- Due diligence
- Title and survey review
- Experience with HUD financing is a plus
- CA Bar required
- Distinguished academic background
- Impeccable references

Pay
The annual base compensation range for this California position is approximately $255,000 to $360,000+, depending on experience, skills, and location, with meaningful performance-based bonus opportunities.
Schedule
This position offers the ability to work remotely in an agile (hybrid) manner across our offices, but will be expected to collaborate in person with attorneys in Hanson Bridgett's Los Angeles office approximately 3 days per week, with flexibility in other locations depending on office norms.
