Senior Commercial Project Manager
About the role
The STG Organization is seeking a highly driven, senior Commercial Project Manager to join their team of CPMs in the New Units Business. This role involves overseeing all commercial aspects and project financials, working closely with the project management team to execute complex projects according to contractual obligations, project management standards, and financial guidelines.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with project managers to complete assigned projects according to defined guidelines and contractual agreements.
- Manage project financials, including monthly revenue recognition, financial planning, risk and opportunity management, and optimizing profit margins and cash flow.
- Ensure compliance with contract requirements such as performance guarantees, insurance, taxes, and contractual obligations.
- Oversee all finance-related project topics, including accounting, legal, tax, foreign exchange, and non-current assets management.
- Prepare and present project status reports to various levels of management.
- Handle special assignments and interact with internal partners and external auditors as needed.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field required; MBA or Master’s degree preferred.
- 10+ years of professional experience in Business Administration, Finance, Commercial Project Management, or a related field, with additional experience potentially leading to a higher-level position.
- CPM Certification required; Senior CPM Certification highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP/IFRS, percentage of completion (PoC) accounting principles, financial reporting, and proficiency with Microsoft Office applications; SAP experience preferred.
- Effective communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently, manage complex priorities, and partner effectively within a team-oriented environment.
- Ability and willingness to travel up to 15% of the time, with the requirement to obtain a passport.
Qualifications
