Essential Duties/Responsibilities
- Analyzes the market and finds new business opportunities.
- Establishes long-term relationships with the Bank’s staff, clients, and business partners.
- Provides financial solutions to customers’ needs.
- Develops new business relationships, including both lending and deposit relationships.
- Leads efforts with executive management to develop and implement appropriate lending products and services.
- Makes sure the portfolio grows effectively through strategic planning, development, and implementation of lending strategies.
- Reviews existing and new client relationships for credit quality, structure, and pricing.
- Ensures the overall health of the loan portfolio, identifying and implementing strategies for growth, market penetration, and risk management.
- Regularly attends to site-based responsibilities.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

- Demonstrated experience with commercial and industrial lending.
- Excellent negotiation ability, including the capacity to explore positions and alternatives to achieve mutual agreements.
- Ability to translate the bank's vision, mission, and values to inspire and guide team members.
- Understanding of business impacts of decisions, aligning departmental work with strategic goals.
- Proven adaptability and change management skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Advanced proficiency in organizing and analyzing financial information.
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field is required.
- Commercial banking, retail, or hospitality experience is preferred.
- Previous leadership and teamwork experience is preferred.
- Previous consumer and commercial lending experience is preferred.
- An equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted on a year-to-year basis.
- Typically requires 9-15 years of experience as a lender in a loan office of a financial institution with specific experience in commercial lending.

Working Conditions
