Essential Duties/Responsibilities
- Analyzes the market and finds new business opportunities.
- Establishes long-term relationships with the Bank’s staff, clients, and business partners.
- Provides financial solutions to customers’ needs.
- Develops new business relationships, including both lending and deposit relationships.
- Leads efforts with executive management to develop and implement appropriate lending products and services.
- Makes sure the loan portfolio is sound, identifying and developing strategies for growth, market penetration, and portfolio mix.
- Reviews existing and new client relationships for credit quality, structure, and pricing.
- Ensures overall soundness of the loan portfolio.
- Regular and reliable on-site attendance is required as an essential function of this position.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

Education & Formal Training
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or similar is required.
- Commercial banking, retail, or hospitality experience preferred.
- Previous leadership and teamwork preferred.
- Previous consumer and commercial lending experience preferred.
- An equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted on a year-to-year basis.
Experience
- Typically between 4-9 years working as a lender in a loan office at a financial institution with specific experience in commercial lending who possesses business development skills and has a proven ability to attract and retain a client portfolio.

Working Conditions
- Working Environment: Professional office environment.
