What you’ll do
- Review, redline, and negotiate a variety of outbound (sell-side) commercial agreements, procurement agreements, partnership agreements, and bespoke business development deals
- Act as the primary legal contact for Sales to facilitate the entire deal process from A to Z through contract execution
- Create and maintain contract templates and playbooks for efficiency
- Implement and continue to iterate on the company’s AI legal ops strategy
- Monitor data privacy, AI, and IP regulations to provide actionable guidance
Who you are
- 6-10 years of legal experience, with at least 2 years negotiating B2B SaaS contracts at a global in-house data-centric SaaS organization with high deal velocity.
- Above all, you must have excellent judgment and critical thinking skills.
- You have an obsession with internal client and external customer happiness, with a demonstrated history of promoting scalable processes and procedures.
- You are independent, patient, thoughtful, and adept at managing shifting priorities in a demanding, fast-paced environment, but at the same time possess the judgment to know when and how to escalate issues.
- Ability to manage the sales contract review process autonomously
- Skilled in the transactional aspects of GDPR
- Pragmatic approach to balancing legal risk and business needs
- Exceptional communication skills for conveying legal concepts to non-lawyers
- Experience in-house at a high-growth AI/data-centric products is a major plus
- Licensed to practice law in the U.S.

This is an on-site role based in our Union Square, NYC office, designed for builders who thrive on speed, iteration, and meaningful impact.
