About the role
The Senior Commercial Administrator provides high-level commercial and administrative support to the Commercial team, ensuring effective management of customer contracts, pricing, commercial reporting, tender submissions, and customer governance processes. This position plays a critical role in supporting revenue growth, customer retention, and compliance across all dnata Airport Services business units.
Responsibilities
- Commercial Administration
- Manage the administration of all customer contracts, ensuring documentation is current, accurate, and securely maintained.
- Maintain the commercial contract register, including contract terms, pricing schedules, renewal dates, and key obligations.
- Track contract milestones, expiry dates, CPI adjustments, and review periods.
- Coordinate execution and filing of agreements, amendments, and variations.
- Support contract governance processes across the business.
- Pricing & Financial Support
- Assist in preparing pricing models and commercial proposals.
- Coordinate annual CPI reviews and customer pricing adjustments.
- Prepare customer quotations and pricing schedules.
- Maintain commercial pricing databases.
- Support revenue analysis and commercial reporting.
- Assist Finance with customer invoicing queries relating to contractual pricing.
- Tender & Proposal Management
- Coordinate end-to-end tender administration.
- Prepare submission documents and ensure compliance with tender requirements.
- Maintain a library of company capability statements, templates, and supporting documentation.
- Coordinate internal stakeholder inputs for proposals.
- Track tender opportunities and submission deadlines.
- Customer & Commercial Reporting
- Prepare monthly customer performance reports.
- Produce commercial dashboards and KPI reporting.
- Support customer business reviews and governance meetings.
- Prepare presentation material for executive and customer meetings.
- Monitor contract performance against agreed commercial commitments.
- Stakeholder Coordination
- Liaise with operational teams to gather information supporting commercial activities.
- Work closely with Finance, Legal, Procurement, and Operations.
- Coordinate customer requests relating to commercial matters.
- Support implementation of new customer contracts and service variations.
- Business Improvement
- Identify opportunities to improve commercial processes and systems.
- Develop standard operating procedures for commercial administration.
- Improve document control and contract management practices.
- Support implementation of new commercial systems and reporting tools.
Requirements
- Essential:
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a commercial administration, contracts, or business support role.
- Strong contract administration experience.
- Excellent organisational and project coordination skills.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint skills.
- Strong analytical and financial literacy.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Desirable:
- Experience within aviation, airport services, or logistics.
- Experience preparing tender submissions.
- Knowledge of commercial contracts and pricing methodologies.
- Experience with ERP or contract management systems.
- Understanding of financial reporting and budgeting.
