Duties/Responsibilities
- Works with Formulary and our customers to ideate and develop award winning products
- Manages on-going contractual customer projects
- Supervises chemical analysis processes
- Reviews the work assignments of chemists and support staff for optimum staff utilization
- Plans analytical procedures for use in complex analyses
- Reviews special chemical investigations
- Writes and/or reviews reports
- Reviews monthly inventory of chemical materials and raw ingredients
- Reviews changes to company chemical analysis manual and approves for distribution
- May represent the company at industry technical meetings and trade shows
Required Skills/Abilities
- Strong personal communication and leadership skills
- Experience as a section head in a formulation laboratory
Education And Experience
- Master's degree in chemistry, chemical engineering, or equivalent
- At least 10 years experience in formulation chemistry
