Senior Collections Specialist *Hybrid - Dallas*

Hybrid position located in Dallas, TX (75201) – 3 days per week on-site.

About the role

This role involves excellent customer service towards clients, attorneys, and offers overtime opportunities. The Sr. Collections Specialist will serve as the primary liaison between billing attorneys, clients, and internal stakeholders to resolve non-payment issues and improve collection efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Manage assigned portfolios of attorneys and accounts, including high-dollar inventory oversight, account analysis, collections guidance, and timely resolution of aged invoices, credit balances, and unbilled inventory.
• Respond promptly and professionally to collection inquiries from attorneys, practice assistants, and firm leadership.
• Generate and present detailed reports to firm leadership on delinquent accounts, flagging at-risk inventory and proposing strategic solutions.

Requirements

• 5+ years in B2B or C2C collections, client relations, and account management.
• Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, XLOOKUP, pivot tables) for data analysis and reporting.
• Strong background in collection strategies and financial reconciliation.
• Proficiency in accounting principles and financial processes, including billing and collections.
• Strong interpersonal skills and personality fit.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a Business discipline (preferred but not required).
• Experience with legal eBilling platforms (e.g., BillBlast) (preferred but not required).
• Previous legal experience within collections.

Pay

$30–$37 per hour plus overtime opportunities.
