Senior CNO Developer (TS/SCI with Polygraph required)
A day in the life
As a Senior CNO Developer, you will support a large mission-focused team of software, systems, and security engineers in the development and deployment of visualization analyst tools for the greater good. Responsibilities include:
- Provides design ideas for new capabilities or recommendations for improvements to existing capabilities.
- Communicates status with leadership and customers.
- Contributes to the completion of milestones associated with specific projects.
- Provides solutions to a variety of complex technical problems.
- Determines computer user needs; analyzes system capabilities to resolve problems on program intent, output requirements, input data acquisition, programming.
- Ensures software standards are met.
- Led the design, development, documenting, testing, and debugging of applications software and systems that contain logical and mathematical solutions.
- Potentially leads a project developing hardware or software-based CNO capabilities, and provides direction to other CNO developers.
- Plans and conducts assignments, generally involving the larger and more important projects or more than one project.
Requirements
Expert knowledge of multiple programming languages such as C/C++, assembly (e.g. x86, ARM, MIPS), Python, or PERL.
Familiarity with multiple software development methodologies (e.g. Scrum, TDD, Waterfall).
Expert level knowledge of security concepts, networks, device drivers, & system internals.
Expert knowledge in at least one technology area (e.g. Windows, Unix, Mobile, Network devices).
Software Analysis/Reverse Engineering experience.
Embedded systems development experience.
A solid understanding of assembly programming concepts.
A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university OR 4 years of additional software engineering experience on projects with similar software processes may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.
An active US Government TS/SCI security clearance with Polygraph.
Qualifications
20+ years of experience as a Software Engineer in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
Skills
- Experience working with networking (TCP/IP).
- Python experience.
- Unit Test experience.
- Experience using Jenkins Continuous Integration Server.
- Ability to handle stress and work well under pressure.
- Analytical and Critical Thinking Skills.

Pay
The projected pay range for this position is $190,000 - $275,000.
