About the role

This newly created role supports ongoing expansion and the company's long-term strategy to remain at the forefront of precision machining and high-performance manufacturing.

Responsibilities

  • Create, refine, and maintain CNC programs for Swiss-style and multi-axis lathes
  • Use CAD/CAM tools such as Esprit and/or Mastercam
  • Read complex blueprints and apply GD&T to develop efficient machining strategies
  • Select tooling, workholding, and fixturing to improve accuracy, quality, and throughput
  • Support first-article inspections and partner with Quality to meet customer and aerospace standards
  • Troubleshoot machining and programming issues to reduce downtime and scrap
  • Support setup technicians and operators with hands-on training and best practices
  • Lead continuous improvement efforts focused on cycle time, tooling performance, and process stability
  • Maintain accurate documentation, including programs, setup sheets, tooling lists, and process standards
  • Sustain a safe, organized, and professional manufacturing environment

Requirements

  • 3+ years of CNC programming experience with strong lathe experience
  • Hands-on Swiss-style CNC lathe experience
  • Ability to be productive quickly in a Swiss machining environment
  • Experience with Esprit and/or Mastercam
  • Strong G-code and M-code knowledge
  • Ability to read complex prints and apply GD&T
  • Experience machining materials such as aluminum, stainless steel, and titanium
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to solve problems independently
  • Ability to work well with production, quality, and engineering teams
  • Aerospace and/or medical manufacturing experience is a plus
  • High-mix / low-volume or job-shop experience is a plus
  • ISO 9001 and/or AS9100 experience is a plus
  • Experience improving cycle time, scrap, tooling performance, or uptime is a plus
  • Technical certifications or formal CNC training is a plus

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Associate degree or technical certification in machining or manufacturing technology (preferred)

Pay

$95,000 – $105,000 DOE
