About the role
We are seeking an experienced Senior CNC Programmer to create and optimize complex 3-axis and 5-axis CNC programs using PowerMill CAM software.
Responsibilities
- Analyze engineering drawings and specifications
- Select tooling and machining parameters
- Develop efficient strategies to maximize productivity while ensuring high quality
- Troubleshoot machining challenges
- Support new product launches
- Mentor other programmers and machinists
Requirements
- At least two years of CNC programming experience with proficiency in programming 3-axis and 5-axis CNC machines
- Strong understanding of machining processes, tooling, and GD&T
- Ability to read technical drawings
Preferred qualifications
- Over five years of experience
- Experience with aerospace or high-precision components
- Fixture design knowledge
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing practices
