Senior CNC Machinist 1st Class - Full Time - Day or Evening

Posimech is an AS9100/ISO9001 certified High-Mix/Low-Volume precision machine shop with a strong history of serving as a top-performing supplier to customers. We manufacture critical parts and electro-mechanical sub-assemblies for major military aircraft, ground-support systems, and various industries. We are expanding and seeking a CNC Swiss Lathe Machinist who can handle complex tasks and contribute to our growth.

Requirements

• Up to $50.00 per hour
• 5+ years working in an aerospace, military, medical, or industrial machine shop required
• Experience with Turning, Swiss, and/or Milling machines or CNC Machine Operator certificate required
• Experience in CNC machine set up and operation required (legacy components and new production orders)
• Experience editing and programming with CAD/CAM software and CNC programs a plus
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and blueprints required
• Knowledge of AS9100 a plus
• Experience holding tolerances to .0002" and .001 True Position
• Working knowledge of various materials & tools (inserts, endmills, drills Etc.) required
• Able to use measuring tools as required (calipers, micrometers, gauges, etc.)
• Good planning and organization skills
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
• Able to multitask and prioritize
• Must be dependable and willing to learn new techniques
• Must be a US person as defined by (ITAR)
• Must read, write, and speak English
• Must be able to regularly stand and lift 20lbs, occasionally lift up to 50lb
• Must meet quality standards and production schedules
• Must perform scheduled and preventive maintenance on equipment
• Must ensure proper material control, identification, and traceability for conforming and nonconforming materials
• Must maintain safe working conditions and follow occupational safety and health requirements, including PPE guidance
• Must support Quality Best Practices and contribute to continuous improvement
