Senior Cloud Platform Engineer

We’re hiring a Lead AWS Cloud Engineer for a fully remote contract-to-hire opportunity supporting an enterprise cloud team. The role is focused on hands-on AWS cloud engineering, automation, infrastructure, and SRE-style work across AWS environments, including CloudFormation, IAM, AWS SSM, cloud networking, scripting, backups, disaster recovery, and observability. Candidates must be able to support EST hours. You’ll be joining a leading specialty insurance company that provides property, casualty, and specialty insurance solutions to businesses and individuals. This is a great opportunity for a senior cloud engineer who wants to stay hands-on in AWS while working on enterprise-scale cloud infrastructure, automation, reliability, and modernization. You’ll have the opportunity to make an impact across a large cloud environment, work alongside an experienced cloud engineering team, and grow into a long-term role with the potential to convert to full-time all while working fully remote.
