Senior Cloud Engineer - Microsoft 365 / Entra ID

Job Overview

We are seeking a Senior Cloud Engineer to manage and optimize Microsoft 365 and Entra ID environments, with a strong focus on Exchange Online, identity, security, and collaboration services.

Responsibilities

• Administer and optimize Microsoft 365 services including Exchange Online, SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams, and Copilot.
• Manage and secure Entra ID, including Conditional Access, MFA, Identity Protection, RBAC, and application registrations.
• Troubleshoot complex Exchange Online mail flow, connectors, transport rules, and hybrid configurations.
• Use Microsoft Defender, Purview, Sentinel, and Log Analytics/KQL for security investigations and incident response.
• Automate administration and provisioning using PowerShell and Microsoft Graph API.
• Support Azure DevOps/GitHub, CI/CD, and Infrastructure-as-Code practices.
• Develop technical documentation, runbooks, and architecture diagrams.
• Lead root-cause analysis and provide technical guidance to junior team members.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on Microsoft 365 and Entra ID administration in enterprise environments.
• Expert-level Exchange Online experience.
• Strong KQL experience with Defender, Sentinel, or Log Analytics.
• Strong understanding of identity/security concepts including SSO, OAuth/OIDC, MFA, Conditional Access, and PIM.
• Strong PowerShell automation skills.
• Experience with Azure DevOps, GitHub, or similar tools.
• Bachelor's degree preferred; candidates with 10+ years of relevant experience may be considered without a degree.
