The Role

The Senior Cloud Engineer is the backbone of the infrastructure that powers Docebo’s global learning platform. You will architect, scale, and secure our AWS-based environments using cutting-edge DevOps and Platform Engineering practices.

Responsibilities

  • Own and evolve our AWS cloud infrastructure end-to-end, taking projects from initial blueprint through implementation and operations to guarantee ultra-high availability, performance, and scale.

  • Automate Everything: Design and implement self-service Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) templates and automation workflows that crush manual toil and give product teams superpowers.

  • Elevate our cloud security posture by partnering with Security and Compliance teams to maintain audit-ready FedRAMP configurations, eliminate drift, and streamline patching.

  • Partner for Impact: Collaborate closely with Engineering to launch new services seamlessly, jump into high-priority incident responses, and turn post-mortem insights into platform upgrades.

  • Optimize and Observe: Master systems like Datadog to keep eyes on platform performance, driving decisions that optimize system resilience, speed, and cost-efficiency.

  • Level Up the Team: Inspire and mentor junior Cloud Engineers through code and design reviews, keeping Docebo at the forefront of modern cloud trends.

Requirements

  • Proven expertise managing complex, production-grade AWS infrastructure with 4–8 years of experience in cloud systems or platform engineering.

  • Intermediate to advanced mastery with IaC tooling like Terraform, CloudFormation, or CDK to provision and scale complex environments.

  • Hands-on proficiency with Linux, Docker, and running microservices on Kubernetes/EKS.

  • Strong experience using Datadog (or similar observability tools) alongside Git/GitLab for seamless code delivery and automation.

  • Solid understanding of DevOps methodologies paired with fluent scripting skills in Python, Bash, or Go.

  • Exceptional analytical skills, sharp attention to detail, and a collaborative, team-first approach to solving complex engineering problems.

  • Direct experience maintaining and patching FedRAMP-regulated or highly compliant cloud environments.

Bonus Points

  • Compliance Ninja: Direct experience maintaining and patching FedRAMP-regulated or highly compliant cloud environments.

Qualifications

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field (or equivalent real-world experience).

Our Interview Process

  • Step 1: Video call with a member of our Talent team.

  • Step 2: Video call with the hiring manager.

  • Step 3: Technical deep-dive and system design discussion with key members of our Cloud & Platform Engineering team.
