Senior Cloud Engineer I

The Role

The Senior Cloud Engineer I is responsible for architecting, scaling, and securing Docebo’s AWS-based environments. This role involves automating infrastructure, enhancing cloud security, and collaborating with engineering teams to launch new services.

Responsibilities

• Own and evolve Docebo’s AWS cloud infrastructure end-to-end
• Design and implement self-service Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) templates and automation workflows
• Elevate cloud security posture by partnering with Security and Compliance teams
• Collaborate closely with Engineering to launch new services seamlessly
• Jump into high-priority incident responses and turn post-mortem insights into platform upgrades
• Master systems like Datadog for platform performance optimization
• Inspire and mentor junior Cloud Engineers

Requirements

• Proven expertise managing complex, production-grade AWS infrastructure
• Mastery with IaC tooling like Terraform, CloudFormation, or CDK
• Hands-on proficiency with Linux, Docker, and Kubernetes
• Strong experience with Datadog for observability and Git/GitLab for automation
• Solid understanding of DevOps methodologies and scripting skills in Python, Bash, or Go
• Exceptional problem-solving skills and a collaborative approach
• Direct experience maintaining FedRAMP-regulated cloud environments

• Compliance Ninja: Experience with FedRAMP-regulated environments

Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field (or equivalent real-world experience)

Schedule

Hybrid work schedule with three days in the office per week (Tuesday-Thursday) and flexible remote work the rest of the week.
