Senior Cloud Administrator

About the role

The Senior Cloud Administrator will oversee the architecture, administration, optimization, and operational support of Empath Health's cloud infrastructure, focusing on the Microsoft Azure platform. This role involves supporting business-critical workloads hosted in Azure, collaborating with various teams, and ensuring cloud systems are secure, reliable, scalable, and aligned with business requirements.

Responsibilities

• Strong technical expertise in Azure and cloud infrastructure technologies, including a deep understanding of Azure services and their use in enterprise environments.
• Manage computer resources, networking configurations, storage solutions, and identity services.
• Ensure Azure resources are properly deployed, configured, and maintained according to organizational standards, including adherence to naming conventions, tagging standards, and resource organization practices.
• Collaborate with infrastructure teams, network engineers, security personnel, and application owners to support business-critical workloads hosted in Azure.

Requirements

• Experience managing computer resources, networking configurations, storage solutions, and identity services.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to manage complex systems.
• Possess or be working toward relevant Microsoft Azure certifications, such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104).
• A Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.

Qualifications

Preferred certifications include Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104).

Skills

Strong technical expertise in Azure and cloud infrastructure technologies, and a deep understanding of Azure services and how they are used in enterprise environments.
