Senior, Clinical Support - LPN

About the role

SMG Family Internal Medicine in Edenton, NC is hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN). New graduates are welcome to apply. Eligible candidates may receive up to an $8,000 sign-on bonus.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic nursing care under the supervision of an RN or Licensed Independent Practitioner (LIP) within the scope of practice dictated by the State Boards of Nursing.
• Deliver direct patient care, perform testing, administer medications, and implement nursing interventions and care plans to support holistic patient care.
• Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team including physicians, NPs, and PAs to support patient treatment and education.
• Act as a patient advocate in the prevention of illness or disease.
• Manage workload with accuracy and provide excellence in customer service.

Requirements

• Valid LPN license in state(s) of practice.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 90 days of hire.
• Detail-oriented, compassionate, and able to handle physically demanding tasks.

Qualifications

• Clinical experience preferred.
• Epic experience highly preferred.

Schedule

• Full-time, 40 hours per week.
• Monday through Friday.
• No nights or holidays.
