As a Senior Clinical Specialist (Clinical Specialist II) at CVRx, you will work alongside Territory Managers, ATMs, and Area Sales Directors to provide high-quality, professional clinical support for CVRx Barostim technology and business applications. You will educate current and potential customers and ensure procedure-based coverage within a defined region or geography. This role plays a vital role in supporting our cutting-edge Barostim technology while driving the expansion of our products.

You must reside within the South Orlando or West Palm Beach, FL area to be considered for this opportunity.

Responsibilities

  • Effectively communicate the product and clinical benefits of Barostim therapy to cardiologists, heart failure/hypertension specialists, and cardiac/vascular surgeons to ensure their understanding of the therapy.
  • Facilitate trainings and programs on the proper application of Barostim therapy to clinicians, office, and hospital staff.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting during implant procedures, follow-up procedures, titrations, and patient office visits to ensure positive clinical outcomes.
  • Work with Territory Managers to develop effective plans to communicate the benefits of our technology, tailored to specific markets.
  • Collaborate with Territory Managers, key physicians, and site staff to develop and execute plans for launching CVRx programs at new customer sites and ensure ongoing commitment to the program.
  • Drive utilization and continuous expansion of Barostim therapy through disease state education and supporting the development of therapeutic programs.
  • Act as a clinical interface between the medical community and the business.
  • Meet with existing and potential healthcare providers to identify their clinical needs, goals, and constraints related to patient care, providing creative and feasible solutions.
  • Adhere to sales management processes and reporting systems usage, including maintaining an accurate record of devices and programmers in Salesforce.
  • Provide additional back-up support to other field staff as needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in an applicable field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience with products for cardiology or cardiac surgery therapeutic devices; heart failure experience will be prioritized.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to effectively manage relationships with key customer groups and CVRx staff.
  • Ability to master concepts of a medical and surgical nature, as well as active implantable medical device technology.
  • Independent, self-motivated, self-starter with the drive and persistence to introduce a novel and innovative technology to the market and support it becoming the standard of care.
  • Detail-oriented, reliable, and able to work independently.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and ability to learn Salesforce, content management, learning management, and other systems as needed.
  • Must reside within the South Orlando or West Palm Beach, FL area.
  • Must be able to lift up to 10 lbs. comfortably.
  • Ability to travel 60% or more, with some overnights required. Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • May be required to be fully vaccinated against the COVID-19 virus and other diseases.

Preferred Qualifications

  • An advanced degree in a related field.
  • Clinical healthcare experience.
  • Knowledge of the heart failure or cardiovascular market, including competitive devices, strategies, and advantages/disadvantages as they relate to CVRx devices.

Working Conditions

This position is remote-based and requires living within the specified territory and/or region. You will interface with multiple internal departments, physicians, physician investigators, customers, and patients.

Pay

Salary range for U.S. locations: $110,000 - $120,000 per year. The base salary range complies with federal and local regulations and may vary based on factors such as experience, certification/education, market conditions, and specific location. This position is also eligible for an additional Incentive Plan, providing the opportunity to earn variable compensation for meeting established objectives.
