Knowledge Services is seeking a Senior Client Technologies Specialist for a long-term contract supporting the State of Maine Judicial Branch in Augusta, ME. Applicants must be currently based in Maine within an hour of Augusta. Travel will be required to all Judicial Branch locations; candidates will use their personal vehicles and submit mileage for reimbursement.

About the Role

In 2026, the Judicial Branch will implement its new case management system—Maine eCourts—to approximately 80% of court locations statewide. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive technical support during these implementations, combining technical proficiency with strong interpersonal skills to guide judicial staff through complex technological changes with patience and professionalism.

Responsibilities

  • Provide on-site support to clerks of court at multiple locations using written training materials and court knowledge bank resources.
  • Troubleshoot user difficulties, provide instruction, and identify potential system functional limitations for the project management team.
  • Analyze technical ability and training needs of users.
  • Provide accurate and timely answers to general use and environment questions.
  • Serve as the point of contact for technology support and as the integration point between business functions and technology requirements.
  • Provide desktop computer support and ensure all work is documented for future reference.
  • Follow quality standards and ensure reliable backups are performed.
  • Proactively address customer needs and communicate accurate status updates.
  • Evaluate and recommend purchases of computers, network hardware, peripheral equipment, and software.
  • Investigate user problems, identify their source, determine possible solutions, test, and implement solutions.
  • Work in a team environment with strong written and spoken communication skills.

Qualifications

  • Must be able to travel statewide.
  • Must have experience troubleshooting end users and solid customer service experience.
  • Must be experienced with Microsoft products.
  • Prior state government experience is a plus but not required.
