About the role
Raymond James is seeking a dynamic Client Service Associate to join our growing team. This role provides high-quality administrative support to Financial Advisors, their clients, and other branch staff.
Responsibilities
- Interact with clients via phone, in-person, virtually, and through mailings to handle basic inquiries and schedule meetings.
- Support Financial Advisors by opening new client accounts, researching client and security information, and tracking daily contacts.
- Process documents for insurance purchases, review closeouts, distributions, and Roth IRA conversions, and maintain 529 accounts.
- Create and maintain records and files using CRM software, prepare letters, forms, and reports, and assist with marketing efforts.
- Oversee outside account reporting, securities litigation submissions, and renewal of insurance and state securities licenses.
- Ensure accuracy and correctness of client paperwork and documentation before submission and processing, and follow up to ensure completion.
- Participate in training and cross-training to stay current on firm and industry policies and procedures.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent with a minimum of three (3) years financial services industry experience, or an equivalent combination of experience, education, and/or training as approved by Human Resources.
- Effective communication skills across multiple platforms (phone, email, in-person, virtual).
- Ability to operate standard office equipment and use required software applications.
- Organizational and attention to detail skills.
- Basic knowledge of investment concepts, financial markets, and industry regulations.
- Proficiency in Client Relationship Management (CRM) software and Excel.
Qualifications
- General office practices, procedures, and methods.
- Knowledge of Raymond James’ working structure, policies, mission, and strategies.
- Ability to analyze and research account information.
- Experience organizing, managing, and tracking multiple, detailed tasks and assignments with frequently changing priorities and deadlines.
- Initiative and proactive follow-up skills.
- Customer service skills, able to handle stressful situations calmly and professionally.
- Mathematical proficiency to process account and transaction information.
Skills

Pay
The salary range for this position is expected to be $55,000.00 - $75,000.00 annually, with the possibility of discretionary bonuses and profit-sharing.
Schedule
Less than 25% travel is expected.
