About the role
The Senior Client Advisor at Bessemer Trust is responsible for managing client relationships, coordinating service delivery, and consulting on various financial services. This position oversees a team and collaborates with internal and external experts.
Responsibilities
- Communicate regularly with clients, discussing investment performance and planning opportunities.
- Present estate, tax, and financial planning recommendations based on consultations with Bessemer specialists.
- Lead client meetings, prepare agendas, and document interactions using Salesforce.
- Coordinate with client advisors and fiduciary counsel to ensure smooth service delivery.
- Determine client risk tolerance, investment objectives, and asset allocation.
- Create, implement, and manage investment plans, and educate clients on market trends.
- Monitor and manage trust accounts, working closely with co-trustees and compliance departments.
- Solicit new clients, prepare proposals, and develop referral networks.
- Supervise and train Client Advisory staff, ensuring efficient and compliant operations.
- Comply with regulatory requirements and stay updated on economic and market trends.
Requirements
- Master's degree or equivalent in a relevant field (Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Law, Taxation).
- Twelve or more years of related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Series 7, Series 63 required.
- CTFA, CFA, or current law license and current CPA preferred.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
- Proven ability to diagnose and solve complex problems.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Thoroughness and attention to detail.
- Entrepreneurial orientation and self-starter initiative.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Qualifications
