Senior Clerk
About the Role
Performs word processing, typing, and proofreading of letters, documents, and memorandums of more than average difficulty from clear copy, rough draft, recordings, or personally developed data. Welcomes visitors, responds to inquiries, and directs them to the appropriate person. Operates copying machines to duplicate forms, bulletins, and notices. Organizes and maintains office files. Maintains inventories of books, supplies, and materials, and prepares requisitions for new materials as required. Answers the telephone and performs other tasks as directed by the Principal.

Requirements
- Civil Service eligibility
- High School Graduate
- Knowledge of standard alphabetic and numeric filing systems
- Ability to work accurately with names, numbers, codes, and symbols
- Demonstrated ability to type, word process, and proofread documents of average difficulty
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
- Ability to perform duties with supervision
- Willingness to work on a schedule that coincides with school hours
Bilingual preferred.
