Senior Claims Specialist, Remote - CA Workers' Compensation

Responsibilities

• Investigate losses
• Analyze coverage, determine compensability and benefits
• Establish reserves and negotiate settlements
• Prepare large loss reports to both internal and external audiences
• Attend settlement conferences as assigned
• Work closely with defense attorneys and other vendors including medical case management, surveillance, etc.

Qualifications

• Ten or more years of experience in workers' compensation claims adjusting, or seven or more years with higher exposure claims
• Current license to adjust workers’ compensation claims in California
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to work Pacific Time Zone business hours
• Industry designations such as Associate in Claims preferred
