Senior Claims Manager, Remote - CA Workers' Compensation

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage a team of claim professionals.
• Direct and coach the performance of the team, including their learning and development.
• Work from home within the Pacific region and travel up to 35% of the time, including some overnight travel for in-person internal claim meetings.

Qualifications

• At least 10 years of diverse experience in workers' compensation claims handling.
• At least 4 years of claims management experience in California.
• Expert claims handling knowledge and management experience in at least one of the following jurisdictions: Arizona, Colorado, Nevada, Oregon, or Utah.
• A bachelor’s degree is preferred.
• A solid background in coverage analysis, reserving, claims investigation, and litigation management.
• Prior work with large or national accounts.
