Senior Claims Consultant

Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of management liability and professional liability claims of moderate complexity and severity.
• Conduct thorough coverage analyses, assess liability and exposure, establish appropriate reserves, and participate in mediations and trials as needed.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders, including agents, insureds, and legal counsel, to ensure high-quality claims handling and exceptional service delivery.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in management liability claims handling or litigation, preferably as a coverage or employment attorney.
• Direct experience with Employment Practices Liability (EPL) essential.
• Experience handling D&O, professional liability or Crime is a plus.

Skills and Competencies

• Strong knowledge of insurance claims processes and the legal/regulatory environment.
• Proven analytical and decision-making skills within authority limits.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Highly organized with the ability to manage priorities and seek support when needed.
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and thoroughness.
• Ability to obtain and maintain required adjuster licenses within 90 days.
• Collaborative team player with a flexible, solutions-oriented mindset.

Benefits

• Base Salary Range: $145k-$170k

• The actual salary for this position will be determined by a number of factors, including the scope, complexity and location of the role; the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment.
