Senior Civil Project Manager

McMillen, Inc. is seeking a Senior Civil Project Manager to join our team. We believe Project Managers with a strong technical background best serve our clients. The ideal candidate is an experienced Seller-Doer who is a registered Professional Engineer (PE) with 15+ years of water resources experience.

Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate multi-disciplinary teams in the successful delivery of a wide range of water resources projects and tasks.
- Manage projects by defining deliverables, building and guiding project teams, managing scope changes, establishing communication plans, and monitoring project progress and performance.
- Oversee planning, design, and construction support services for fisheries, fish passage, hydropower, dams, flood control, pump stations, water treatment, stormwater, surface water management, and other heavy civil infrastructure projects.
- Collect and analyze field data, as-built drawings, and engineering reports to assess existing conditions and identify critical design criteria.
- Develop, manage, and maintain strong client relationships.
- Identify and pursue project opportunities and prepare competitive proposals.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering required
- Master’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field required
- Minimum 15 years of experience in civil and/or hydraulic engineering
- Minimum 7 years of Project Management experience preferred
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required; NCEES registration preferred
- Demonstrated design delivery experience with water resource infrastructure projects, including fisheries-related projects, hydropower, dams, water conveyance, stormwater networks, heavy grading, water treatment facilities, spillways, and pump stations
- Familiarity with civil engineering design software
- Strong knowledge of civil engineering codes, standards, and industry best practices
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively prioritize and manage multiple tasks
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment, lead project tasks, work independently, and remain self-motivated
- Willingness and ability to travel up to 25% monthly

Pay
Pay Range: $124,000 - $202,450 (DOE)
Schedule
Ability to travel up to 25% monthly, with requirements to sit, stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel, reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and talk or hear. Must be able to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
