About the role
This position sits at the intersection of technical delivery, client management, and office growth, offering the opportunity to work across a diverse portfolio of land development projects while contributing to the continued expansion of a high-performing team.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design and permitting of land development projects across residential, commercial, institutional, industrial, and mixed-use sectors
- Manage projects through the full lifecycle from concept through completion
- Oversee technical aspects including site layout, grading, drainage, utilities, and infrastructure design
- Deliver stormwater management design, hydrologic and hydraulic analysis, and SWPPP preparation
- Work closely with office leadership to support growth plans and ensure strong team utilisation
- Develop and maintain client relationships while contributing to new business development
- Cook up multidisciplinary teams including environmental and geotechnical groups
- Support proposal development and technical reporting
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to overall team development
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
- 10+ years of relevant site/civil engineering experience, with a focus on land development
- Licensed Professional Engineer
- Strong experience across a range of project types and scales
- Proven ability to lead projects and manage client relationships
- Experience with AutoCAD or Civil 3D
- Ability to contribute to business development and support office growth
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and organizational capabilities
- Comfortable working both independently and within a team environment
- Ability to travel locally for client meetings and site visits
