About the role
Join the KPFF Lacey team as a motivated, energetic, and experienced Senior Project Manager with at least eight years of experience and a strong background in managing civil engineering projects ensuring they are delivered to the highest quality standards. The ideal candidate will be accomplished in site development, civil engineering, project management, and planning.
Responsibilities
- Proven capability to work dynamically and effectively in a collaborative environment.

- Ability to apply established engineering principles to solve problems and/or overcome obstacles using sound judgement, independent decision making, and prolonged focus

- Foster strong client relationships by actively listening to client needs, providing clear communication, and delivering customized solutions that align with their objectives
- Primary interface with clients on project coordination and design.
- Responsible to technical content and quality control / assurance of accuracy.
- Establish project fees and schedules.
- Track project budget and timing to ensure fulfillment of contract commitments.
- Provide construction administration support.
- Ability to communicate with contractors, and conduct site visits and inspections as necessary to ensure compliance with project requirements and industry standards.
Qualifications
- B.S. Degree or higher in Civil Engineering
- At least 8 years of experience as a Civil Project Manager
- P.E. License in Washington State
- Knowledge of codes, regulations, and standards applicable to the design and construction of major site development projects in Washington
- Permitting experience with various municipalities
- Ability to manage multiple active projects concurrently
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and collaborative skills are essential
- Competency, accountability, and personal commitment to deliver quality work to our clients, and to mentor younger staff
Additional Information
- Compensation: The base salary for this role is competitive, with a range of $120,000 - $155,000 determined by experience, education, and skills. KPFF also offers performance-based bonuses to recognize outstanding contributions. Additional details about the full compensation package will be provided during the interview process.
