Senior Civil Engineer- Project Manager

About the role

Stantec’s New York City office is seeking a Senior Civil Engineer with at least 15 years of engineering design experience to lead urban infrastructure projects in the New York Metropolitan area. This position offers opportunities for rapid growth through marketing and business development, client exposure, project management, and efficient delivery.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage multiple projects serving as the Project Manager, Technical Lead, and/or Task Manager for civil infrastructure projects.
• Plan, organize, and manage the production of project deliverables to ensure on-time delivery, technical quality, and within budget.
• Serve as the project’s point of contact with clients, agencies, and others to obtain and determine project requirements and approvals.
• Conduct quality assurance and quality control on own projects and projects of peers.
• Manage and monitor schedule and budget performance of assigned projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• Licensed Professional Engineer (New York State preferred or able to obtain within 6 months of start date).

Pay

$134,900.00 - $202,500.00 Annually
